Quick Update

It's been a while, because we've been so busy! Here's the short version:

Aki's been rockin' it out at "Hair-Ex", where he does extensions and is a color specialist, we've ALL been really excited about the agency's sponsorship of both an NBA and NHL dance team, go Hawks, go Thrashers!!!! We've help complete the girls' looks for this season along with our makeup sponsor, Make Up For Ever. We absolutely love their HD foundation and powder. Great coverage, great colors. The Real Housewives of Atlanta.....I did DeShawn, Nene, and host Andy for the reunion show. My girl Toney Acey did Sheree and Lisa. We airbrushed. Quite an interesting (and hilarious) day of taping! TGR with MAC for BET

Artists from The Green Room Agency, along with the great team from M.A.C. held it down backstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Cabby, Aki, and Andrea created beautiful looks all night! Be sure to catch the show this Thursday on BET!

Controversial Mag Cover

Lifeway Christian Bookstores recently pulled "Gospel Today" magazine from its shelves because of the recent cover that features female pastors. This action, from a Christian store chain....hmmm

I write the "Beauty and Balance" column for the magazine, and I did the makeup for the cover, so I may be a bit biased, but this is a GREAT publication, and I'm really disappointed in their decision.

However, the women do look AWESOME!

Hairstylist/makeup artist Aki Hill and I recently returned from the beautiful Sandestin resort where we shot a calendar for the A-Town (Atlanta Hawks) Dancers. We're sponsoring the dance teams for the Hawks and Thrashers (Blue Crew) this year, so they'll definitely look awesome!!
