Calling All MAC Lovers!

So I've been  playing with some of the beautiful limited edition products by  Dutch designer Marcel Wanders for MAC.   The entire collection is so rich and pretty! I love using color, so this is right up my alley!!!  If you haven't gotten anything from this collection, you should. The packaging is itself art, so sleek.  So far my favorite is the lip gloss in Aleydis...oh what a nice shade of fuchsia ! (I'm kinda over the "Barbie" pink!) Plus I like the deeper, richer tones for fall/winter.

Nyssa's Southern Products

These pencils have really been rockin' my world lately. I mainly use black bean and milk, but can't wait to try the green, of course. I used the black for SL.

The MAC greasepaint stick I used was the limited edition, purple, dsquared one, but I also love the brown. Very easy and smooth.
The Nars Mekong shadow is a gorgeous brown and looks great on everybody.

MAC's New CollectionT

The "Tartan Collection" from MAC is one of the best they've done, in my opinion!!! Great kits with lots of fun stuff! These are the two I'm getting first! The Noble Knights Line and Lash Kit (love the teal pigment!) and A Fabulous Fantasy Lip Kit. These will surely sell out, so get them while you can!!

What We're Lovin' (Today)

We made a MAC run yesterday and got a couple of classics : studiofix of course, and spice lipliners. But we also got some of MY new obsession, dazzleglass. I love "steppin' out" (on left in photo), and I've been putting it on top of lots of different pink or peach lipsticks....gorgeous!!

Don't you just love when a product does what it promises? Us too! MAC's new Pro Longwear foundation and concealer have major staying power, and have a great finish. You have to work quickly because once it sets, it's set! It's a great buy because it's really concentrated-a little goes a long way!

944 and More....

On October 2nd we did makeup for the 944 Magazine William Rast fashion show. Lena was the key makeup artist and designed a modern, hip look to compliment the great clothing. See pix for runway looks and product info!





Makeup artist Hillary had the perfect nude for the night's lip. It was a Tom Ford lipstick and we all loved it!

Lena had the artists use orange, brown, and green shadow on the eyes. We used MAC and Makeupforever shadows, and the NYX black pencil to line and smudge on top and bottom!
